Wien-Floridsdorf\/Auch am zweiten Wettkampftag bringen unsere Athletinnen und Athleten gute Leistungen.
\nDie erste, die ran durfte, war Magdalena Varga<\/strong> \u00fcber 50m Schmetterling. Dort erreichte sie eine Zeit von 36.76s (494 Punkte)\u00a0<\/strong>und damit Platz vier in der Wiener Wertung und 11. insgesamt.
\nBei den Herren schwammen Christian Abila und Andreas Woerz jeweils auf die Pl\u00e4tze 12 (31.15s\/440 Punkte) und 19 (43.38s\/256 Punkte).
\nLangstreckenspezialist Christopher Beck<\/strong> trat auf die ungewohnten 100m Brust an. Sein selbstgenanntes „Experiment“ brachte ihm die Silbermedaille in der Wiener Wertung (1:20.91min\/450 Punkte\/Vereinsrekord<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Nur einer hatte mehr Punkte.<\/p><\/div>\n

Eine weitere Medaille steuerte Magdalena „Magdy“ Varga<\/strong> auf den 100m Freistil bei. Sie wurde mit 1:09.30min\/570 Punkte Dritte in Wien<\/strong>. Angelika H\u00f6necke<\/strong> wurde mit 1:22.86min\/418 Punkte Siebte.<\/strong>
\nIn die obere H\u00e4lfte der Wertung schwamm Wolfgang Raml<\/strong> auf den 100m Freistil. Er wurde mit 1:05.35min\/505 Punkte Zehnter.<\/strong>
\nChristian Abila<\/strong> wurde mit 1:07.31min\/375 Punkte 18.<\/strong> in Wien.<\/p>\n

Magdy Varga<\/strong> verpasste aufgrund einer Disqualifikation den dritten Platz \u00fcber die 200m Lagen. Ihre Zeit w\u00e4re 3.12:20min<\/strong> gewesen.<\/p>\n

Magdy wird Dritte auf den 100m Freistil<\/p><\/div>\n

Spannend war die 4x50m Freistil Herrenstaffel. Hier wurde von Sektionschef Wolfgang Raml<\/strong> ein neuer Vereinsrekord gefordert.\u00a0<\/span>Christopher Beck, Christian Abila, Wolfgang Raml und Carsten Schmidt<\/strong> schafften die Sensation und schlugen nach 1:51.52min<\/strong> an und verbesserten den Vereinsrekord um 0.87s<\/strong>. Diese Zeit bedeutet auch Bronze in der Gesamtwertung.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die 4x50m Freistil Herrenstaffel (v. l. n. r.) Wolfgang Raml, Christopher Beck und Christian Abila. Carsten Schmidt, der extra f\u00fcr die Staffel anreiste, war f\u00fcr das Foto wieder abgereist.<\/p><\/div>\n

Im Nachmittagsabschnitt ging die Medaillenjagd f\u00fcr vier verbliebene WSC-Herren erfolgreich weiter.
\nPeter Polak<\/strong> bewies erneut seine Form und schwamm die 50m R\u00fccken in einer neuen Bestzeit von 37.08s\/611 Punkte<\/strong>. Damit wurde er Zweiter in Wien und Vierter insgesamt.
\nMit einer pers\u00f6nlichen Bestzeit stach auch Christian Abila<\/strong> heraus. Er durchbrach die 36s Grenze und schlug nach 35.89s<\/strong> an.
\n\"Peter<\/a><\/p>\n

Das Brustexperiment von Christopher Beck<\/strong> fand am Nachmittag \u00fcber die 200m Brust eine Fortsetzung. Sein selbst gestecktes Ziel war eine Zeit unter 3 min und er wurde Sieger \u00fcber sich selbst, als 2:57.48 min<\/strong> auf der Zeittafel erschien.<\/p>\n

Die darauffolgenden 100m Schmetterling verliefen entt\u00e4uschend f\u00fcr Christian Abila.<\/strong> Er erreichte eine Zeit von 1:15.49 min<\/strong> und war damit fast f\u00fcnf Sekunden langsamer als seine pers\u00f6nliche Bestzeit.<\/p>\n

Erfreuliche Nachrichten gab es dann nach den 200m Freistil der Herren. Auch hier konnte Peter Polak<\/strong> die Wiener Konkurrenz hinter sich lassen und holt nach 2:28.79 min Gold und wurde Gesamt-3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zum Abschluss des zweiten Wettkampftages trat Sektionschef Wolfgang Raml<\/strong> \u00fcber seine geliebten und von vielen anderen Schwimmern gef\u00fcrchteten 400m Lagen an. Er \u00fcberwand die Strecke in 6:11.39 min<\/strong> und kam auf den 4. Platz der Wiener Wertung.<\/p>\n
