Vom 18. bis 20. November 2016 fand der XXIII. Russland-Cup<\/strong><\/a>, der gr\u00f6\u00dfte und wichtigste Kurzbahn-Wettbewerb der Russischen F\u00f6deration, statt. Gastgeberin war wieder einmal Kazan, die Hauptstadt der Republik Tatarstan, die u.a. schon 2012 Veranstalterin des XIX. Russland-Cups<\/a> und im Vorjahr der XXIV. Offenen Russl\u00e4ndischen Meisterschaften<\/a> sowie der FINA- wie auch der Masters-Weltmeisterschaften<\/a> war.<\/p>\n

Am heurigen Wettbewerb nahmen 780 (von urspr\u00fcnglich 844 gemeldeten) SchwimmerInnen teil, davon 236 Frauen und 544 M\u00e4nner. Vertreten waren 56 Vereine aus 36 St\u00e4dten und Regionen der Russischen F\u00f6deration, aber auch aus Estland, Kasachstan und \u00d6sterreich, dessen einziger Teilnehmer Christian Pischl\u00f6ger<\/strong> vom Wiener Sport-Club<\/strong> war. Insgesamt wurden vier Weltrekorde<\/strong>, sechs Europarekorde<\/strong> und 72 Russland-Rekorde<\/strong> verbessert.<\/p>\n

Den „Preis der Publikumssympathie<\/strong>“ erschwamm sich Aleksandr Ko\u0161kin<\/strong> aus der Stadt Penza, der beidbeinig amputiert in der AK45 in mehreren L\u00e4ufen antrat und dabei sehr gute Resultate erzielte.Ein gro\u00dfes Kompliment\u00a0 geht auch an die Veranstalter, die einen sehr professionellen Wettkampf auf die Beine gestellt haben.<\/p>\n
