Am 14. & 15. Mai 2011 fand erstmals das neu aus der Taufe gehobene „Internationale offene ASV\u00d6-Wien Schwimm-Derby<\/strong>“ statt. Aus \u00d6sterreich, Deutschland, Ungarn und der Slowakei waren \u00fcber 200 Schwimmerinnen und Schwimmer angereist, um bei dem hervorragend organisierten Wettkampf um Medaillen zu k\u00e4mpfen. Die Veranstalter, der EW Donau SC<\/a> und der ASV\u00d6 Wien<\/a>, brachten auf Anhieb ein perfekt organisiertes, in netter Atmosph\u00e4re abgehaltenes Meeting zustande, auf dass man sich zuk\u00fcnftig freuen kann.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die Masters wurden s\u00e4mtliche Bewerbe angeboten, die Konkurrenz war dementsprechend stark. Dennoch eroberte der Wiener Sport-Club insgesamt 2 Silber und 2 Bronze Medaillen<\/strong>. Eine Silberne ging dabei auf das Konto der 4 x 100m Brust Herrenstaffel<\/strong>, die in 6:13.82<\/strong> eine eindrucksvolle Leistung auf der sonst kaum geschwommenen Strecke bot.<\/p>\n

Edelmetall eroberten neben der Staffel Peter Polak<\/strong> \u00fcber 200m Freistil (Bronze) und Wolfgang Raml<\/strong> auf den 200m Schmetterling (Silber) sowie den 100m R\u00fccken (Bronze).<\/p>\n

Neben zahlreichen Bestleistungen – Peter Polak<\/strong> erzielte allein 7 pers\u00f6nliche Rekorde bei 8 Starts, Christian Pischl\u00f6ger<\/strong> bei all seinen beiden – gab es 4 neue Vereinsrekorde:<\/p>\n

Ulrike Greiner<\/strong>: 50m Freistil (33.87) & 100m Lagen (1:32.48)
\nPeter Polak<\/strong>: 400m Freistil (5:19.80)
\nWolfgang Raml<\/strong>: 200m Schmetterling (3:05.73)<\/p>\n

Drei Wochen vor dem ersten Saisonh\u00f6hepunkt, den Internationalen Wiener Meisterschaften, zeigte sich die Schwimmsektion aus dem Training heraus bereits in hervorragender Form. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass diese dann auch im Stadionbad ausgespielt werden kann.<\/p>\n

Abschlie\u00dfend bedankt sich die Sektionsleitung bei allen Schwimmerinnen und Schwimmern, die es m\u00f6glich gemacht haben, seit November 2006 nun genau 50 Schwimmwettk\u00e4mpfe<\/strong> beschickt und bestritten zu haben!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
